Young Audiences Fund Roundtable discussion

Posted on 18th September 2019

Film Hub North & BFI NETWORK in partnership with Northern Film + Media will be hosting a round table discussion aimed at writers, directors and producers interested in developing exciting new ideas for the Young Audiences Content Fund, recently launched by the BFI.

YACF Development Executive Harriet Williams will join the roundtable discussion to give advice and guidance to potential applicants and anyone who is interested in hearing more information about the Fund.

A £57m three year pilot, the Young Audiences Content Fund was launched by the BFI in April to support the creation of distinctive, high-quality content for audiences up to the age of 18.

It has both production and development funding available for new programming – in live-action, documentary, animation and across all genres, including shorts – to air on free-to-access Ofcom regulated television and online platforms. Financed by the UK Government, the Fund is seeking content that entertains, informs and reflects the experiences of children and young people growing up in the UK today.

Harriet will also be available for bookable 1-2-1 meetings following the roundtable.
