About Blueprint

What is Blueprint?

BLUEPRINT is a creative development programme for early career Tees Valley artists and creatives who want to hone and improve their skills creating work in film and video.

What’s involved?

Blueprint will run from June to December 2021, and includes:

Northern Film & Media is working to build a more diverse workforce across the industry. We value difference and promote inclusion, and actively encourage applications from those who consider themselves as having minority representation in the creative industries, such as age, gender, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, socio-economic background, religion and/or belief.

We are inviting people with different skills, experiences and backgrounds to apply for this opportunity. We advocate the Social Model of Disability and want to ensure our recruitment process is as accessible as possible by offering:

  • A range of formats of application documents and interview instructions (large print, easy read, emailed Word documents).
  • Written, audio or video recorded ‘cover letters’ and CVs.
  • Flexibility for interview times and dates, wherever possible.
  • Virtual interviews.
  • Access support provision (communication support, personal assistants).
  • Access instructions for our buildings and work locations.
  • A written list of interview questions in advance of interview date.
  • Flexible working in keeping with role requirements.

We understand that this list does not cover all the adjustments or changes that some candidates may require. If there are other ways that we can make communicating with us easier, at any stage of the process, please let us know by emailing blueprint@nfmarchive.northeastscreen.org.
