NFM Academy Autumn 2017 and Spring 2018 Events Programme

We are pleased to announce that thanks to further funding from Creative Skillset we are launching our Autumn 2017 and Spring 2018 NFM Academy events programme.  Over the next 9 months we will be offering a whole host of events which equip those interested in a career in film and TV with the knowledge and skills required to find work.  We kick start the autumn with Bootcamp on 27th  September which includes sessions on ‘on set etiquette, media CV’s and top tips from industry professionals’. This will be followed by a series of Networking events, workshops and master classes.

‘I attended the first NFM Bootcamp straight out of university. I had learned the skills that I needed to work in costume during my time at university but I still didn’t know anything about working in the TV and film industry as a crew member. The boot camp taught me chain of command on a TV/film set, how to act, who to approach, how to read a call sheet etc and this information has come in useful.’
