The series has been filmed so that viewers share in these events and the company hopes that each 11-minute episode will spark conversation between parents and children as they too, prepare to undertake new experiences of their own.

MCC Media are building on this success with many exciting new projects currently in development. My First…is an engaging live-action series for children under 6, which captures the wonder of a child experiencing new activities and encounters for the very first time. Filmed from a toddler-eye perspective, young viewers will be encouraged to share in these milestones and ‘interact’ with the narrator as the action unfolds.
My First…is a 20-episode series, which records new experiences and encounters from a child’s point of view and shows positively reinforced responses to these events. Each child is followed as they participate in their chosen experience for the first time and the viewer gets to share this within the show As well as being an exciting adventure for young viewers, My First… wants to help remind parents of the enormity of new encounters for a child, and help show how other children have experienced this milestone. The show offers an insight to see how resilient children can be as we observe their responses to each new experience. Each episode is eleven minutes long and narrated by well known CBeebies presenter Gemma Hunt (Swashbuckle).
My First was series produced for MCC Media by Paul McCoy with Audrey Neil as Executive Producer. Executive Producers CBeebies was Michael Towner and Julia Bond. Music has been composed by Emmy award winning composer Brollyman.
