Verity Birt will use her time with BALTIC + The NewBridge Project to work with local women’s groups to develop a work responding to the tradition of Canntaireachd.

Using the current political and socio-economic situation of Scotland and England, Aaron Guy will use his time in Edinburgh with Stills as a backdrop to explore Scottish Common Sense.

Kimberley O’Neill
Kimberley O’Neill will be working with Stills to research a new work exploring the dynamics of ‘crowd mind’, starting from the historian EP Thompson’s writing on ‘Rough Music’.

Anthony Shapland
Anthony Shapland will work with an orchestra in Cardiff to film a performance, focusing on those musicians that are counting bars, or ‘resting’  in anticipation of making a sound.

Cecilia Stenbom will use her time at Chapter to research and develop an experimental approach to observational documentary, exploring the idea of the institution in its widest sense.
